Tech for Good, is a social movement that is growing year upon year. It is when an organisation uses technology to take on big social and environmental problems, with the aim of improving communities and lives in new ways. In this session we’ll explore how nonprofit organizations around the world are using observability data to monitor their technology infrastructures to power their missions for good!
Organizations who are embracing the Tech for Good movement include nonprofits such as Sensing Clues in The Netherlands, AngelFlightsWest, CAPUK, UpChieve and The Phoenix and many more who are focused on solving a wide range of social issues from: environmental disaster relief to global warming, climate change, access to education, inequality, human rights, endangered species, sustainability, domestic violence, LGBQT rights, tackling homelessness, preserving water in drought stricken areas and eradicating poverty.
